Job Description

Our client, a logistics company who prides themselves on exceeding requirements within customer service is looking for a Transport Planner to work permanently for the business on a self-employed basis within a supportive yet busy team.

It be considered for this role you must have experience in HGV Container planning or have transport planning experience and want to progress in this area.

Responsibilities will include…

• Planning haulage requirements for customers

• Planning of drivers and vehicles to match the customers delivery time

• Dealing with drivers

• VBS bookings / Port Booking systems

• Quoting Client

• React to live customer issues, communicating professionally over email and phone.

• Organised with excellent time keeping

• Rational & calm in pressured situations

• Experienced with UK Road containers, HGV’s and Drivers

Working Hours

Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm

Salary

Day rate negotiable depending on experience
