How we work

We understand that looking for a new job or making a career move can be daunting. But we also believe it should be an exciting and rewarding experience. Here at Workshop Recruitment, we provide 100% support and commitment to you in your search for a new role, listening to your needs and advising you every step of the way.

The Workshop Recruitment process is honest, transparent and supportive from start to finish. Our consultants are experts in what they do, and will work with you to create a personalised journey including the following stages:

Explore

Explore what your tick boxes are for that perfect role – including preferred business sector, salary, location and hours, whether it be a full or part time, temporary or permanent role.

Advise

Review your previous experience, training and qualifications to offer essential career advice and support to ensure the roles you are looking for are the best and most suitable for your skillset.

Research

Research the businesses and available roles in your ideal geographical area that match your experience and skillset, and then liaise between yourself and potential employers to further progress your career journey.

Review

Review your CV and job applications to ensure they reflect your true potential and that the key skills required for the roles/industry you are applying for are clearly displayed in your CV.  This will allow potential employers to see you have the pre-requisite skills at a first glance.

Feedback

Give honest and constructive feedback so you have realistic expectations about what is achievable.  We want all our candidates to succeed and this requires us getting to know your capabilities, experience and objectives so we can find the right roles for you.

Prepare

Prepare you for interviews; this includes giving you information on the company you’re visiting, likely questions/scenarios to prepare for and guidance on how to get there, including public transport links or onsite parking availability.

Negotiate

Negotiate offers of employment on your behalf to ensure you are getting all the benefits you’re entitled to.  This includes negotiating salary and commission structures, working hours and holiday entitlements.

Support

Support you through the induction process to ensure a smooth transition into your new role.  Once you have done the hard work and started your new job, you are not forgotten about!  We like to keep in touch and offer post placement support to ensure everything is going to plan.
