Workshop Recruitment are looking to recruit a Health and Safety Officer for our client. You will work within the Portsmouth and surrounding areas. You will be working within Social Housing, Local Authority Sites (occupied and void) as well as on new build sites. Areas of work will mainly local but can be as far as Worthing, Woking, and Southampton (fuel will be supplemented after 20 miles)
You will be responsible for:
Completing any Risk Assessment Method Statements (RAMS) needed by the team as well as supporting the office admin team. Checking supply chain RAMS to ensure total compliance.
Auditing supply chain Health & Safety
Evaluating Health & Safety questionnaires at tender stage
Building all site files and O&M manuals with help from the project team
Processing company accreditations and keeping them up to date
Apply for CITB funding to assist with industry training
Regular site inspections
Meeting with clients when needed
Completing construction phase plans
Essential Requirements:
PTLLS staff training qualification or equivalent
Relevant H&S qualifications (such as; NEBOSH, NVQ's in both Construction and Health and Safety
Must have a Full, Clean UK Driving License and own vehicle
CSCS Card (Beneficial)
Must have construction based experience
