Learning & Development Sales Trainer

This is an exciting new role working with an accomplished sales team focusing on the training and development of new starters and existing sales talent. You will be a key player in developing the sales talent within the business.

You will be joining a collaborative and forward-thinking group, working in great surrounding with a fantastic team of dynamic people.

You will be a talented L&D Sales Trainer, with a creative and engaging approach to facilitating learning and will work closely with Head of Global Sales, Sales Director and Head of People, to develop world-class learning interventions across the sales teams. You will facilitate our monthly induction programme and have the ability to conduct learning needs analysis; design and deliver effective sales training programmes and evaluate results.

Key Responsibilities, but not limited to:

  • Facilitate sales induction training programme by onboarding & inducting people effectively, reducing attrition linked to capability issue
  • Deliver refresher sales training to new and existing Sales Development Representatives, Sales Executives and Business Development Managers
  • Upskill the team as required to meet and maintain business expectations and goals
  • Deliver training across multi-sites (UK South and US)
  • Validate & reinforce learning & evaluate results
  • Design and deliver effective sales training programmes, creating content on an ongoing basis
  • Updating learning management system

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Learning & development sales training experience is a must
  • Ideally phone-based sales training experience
  • Classroom training experience is required
  • Experience working with a learning Management System (LMS)
  • Adept at creating and designing new training content
  • Able to maintain and cultivate good working relationships with key stakeholders
  • Highly motivated by a fast-paced working environment
  • Great team player with a strong & high energy personality
  • Easily adaptable to new skills and flexible approach to work, to suit the needs of the business
  • Ideally hold a CIPD Level 3 qualification in Learning & Development
