The Sales Team Manager be responsible for the performance and management of a team of Sales Executives. Day to day management will include individual performance management, supporting with Training and development and recruitment, lead distribution and management.
Key Duties
Accountable for their Sales Team achieving their Sales KPI’s (e.g. Revenue, Conversion Rate, Cancellations, Cash payments)
Day to day management and performance management of team members (e.g. Absence, 121, Daily Stand Ups etc.)
Responsible for the daily CRM/Lead Management and distributing to team
Support team members with their personal development by arranging training/coaching and assist with the onboarding of new members of the team.
Ensure personal Sales KPI’s are achieved in line with monthly/daily company target
Handling chat enquires and inbound calls from potential customers, which include sending emails and texts.
Making outbound calls to warm leads who have expressed an interest in enrolling with us
Support recruitment by interviewing candidates with HR
Skills and Knowledge
Demonstrable experience of effective leadership in a targeted contact centre environment - preferably a Sales environment
A determined and driven attitude with a confident approach towards results oriented and targeted styles of working
An articulate individual with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to develop and maintain positive internal and external relationships, both sideways and upward.
Flexibility and willingness to take on new responsibilities or duties as driven by business needs – an advocate for change
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with people by phone and email.
Understand the importance of leading by example
Previous experience of lead management, use of a CRM and the reporting functions it holds.
Strong Microsoft Office skills (e.g Outlook, Excel, etc.)
