Our client operate one of the best ecommerce teams on the South Coast, developing an amazing journey for customers as well as creating an amazing career opportunity for its staff. We have a great role for someone looking to progress their career in Ecommerce but to succeed you`ll be technically minded and you will need bags of energy, a head for trading and a hard-working mentality.

You will execute our client`s online trade plan and look to go beyond their budgeted sales targets. This is a busy team working hard to maximise conversions via the site. On top of this you`ll work on competitor analysis, selecting product for our client`s regular emails and on-site collections, range reviews, trading meetings, data analysis, setting publishing priorities and lots more besides. It`s a role that`s full of variety and will suit someone who gets a buzz out of smashing targets. This is a great role for someone looking to apply their Ecommerce skills and drive performance forward. You`ll need to bring a confident, energetic attitude and a technical, highly organised approach.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Manage the day to day trading and merchandising of the company`s websites.
  • Create site content, ensuring that it follows the Trading plan and provides an enhanced customer experience.
  • Build personalised campaigns to deliver relevant content to targeted segments.
  • Create unique experiences for specific customer groups.
  • Work to increase sales, conversion and average order value through monitoring web analytics.
  • Ensure that the Email plan is executed to a high standard and that all assets are thoroughly tested before launching.
  • Create analysis on campaigns and provide `lessons learnt` for the department working alongside the Digital Analyst.
  • Set up and report on Promotions for online and marketing.
  • Monitor and report weekly and monthly on competitor activity.
  • Work cross functionally with Buying & Merchandising teams, Marketing & Creative to ensure continuity between online and in-store.
  • Ensure online availability is maintained to a high level working with the Merchandising teams.
  • Identify opportunities for customer experience enhancement.
  • Ensure that all products are published on the site and that copy, compositions and photographs are of a high standard.
  • Work with the Development and Project teams to QA test new releases ready for go live on the website.


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor`s degree preferred
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • A team player, able to build relationships and work well in a team
  • A self-starter, able to work alone when required & equally take direction from others
  • A quick learner, able to ask the right questions to further your knowledge
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Passion for achieving results
  • Must have positivity, energy, enthusiasm, drive and a `can do` attitude
  • Keen to apply and develop your technical skills
  • Experience using an e-Commerce platform
  • Experience using a Customer / CRM platform
  • Working knowledge in MS Office, including competency in Microsoft Excel.
