Job Details

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our clients Human Resources team in a newly created role. They`re looking for someone to help support the people, and wider strategic business goals. The role reports into the Head of Global HR and will be responsible for delivering effective communication that articulates and promotes the company`s purpose, brings to life the people strategy, and actively demonstrates the value of their people through communication - informing, connecting, listening, and encouraging active 2-way communication. A person that will be a true ambassador for the employee brand, and who is instrumental to promoting and shaping the organisation`s culture.

The successful candidate will create, promote and share information that connects employees with the vision, culture and values, proactively leading in the development of effective communication activities/campaigns that support the people strategy and its initiatives to internal and external audiences.

An enthusiastic, resourceful and self-motivated communicator with a broad experience of print and digital channels, the post holder will possess exceptional written and creative flair. With a keen eye for a great story and the ability to tell it in the most compelling way, they will be passionate about developing our client`s employee brand to internal and external audiences. They will do this by celebrating and promoting the achievements of the people strategy and wider business initiatives, and those of the company`s colleagues, creating opportunities for them to have real involvement and influence within the organisation, thus bringing the company`s people strategy to life in the most compelling way.

The successful candidate will be a true `people` person, with the ability to build great relationships at all levels within the business. They will have a great eye for design, creativity in thought and problem solving, with the ability to understand a strategy, and deliver communication programs in a simplistic way to bring the initiatives to life. This would suit someone with previous experience of developing and delivering motivation/engagement type campaigns and promoting the employee value proposition.


Skills and Knowledge

  • Degree or equivalent experience
  • 2 : 5 years experience of working in a similar role
  • Program management, facilitation, and implementation
  • Exceptional verbal, written communication skills that consist of writing highly effective and engaging content
  • Strong organisational skills
  • A good eye for design; InDesign, Adobe Photoshop and video production software would be highly regarded but not essential
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple activities and see initiatives through to conclusion
  • Empathetic enough to understand the issues and speak the right language
  • Demonstrating entrepreneurial spirit: creative, positive disposition, outgoing, adaptable, shows courage, ownership, with a can-do attitude
