Senior Legal Recruiter

Portsmouth with opportunity to work from home

Negotiable Salary

Ashville Knight are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Legal Recruiter to join our legal division. Our office is based on the outskirts of Portsmouth, in Drayton, and we are looking for an experienced individual to join our busy team. We are a forward-thinking company that are looking for people that want to grow with us. This role will be focused on recruiting for legal roles, maximising clients that you work with and following up leads to generate new business. There is an opportunity to work from home in this role.

Duties

  • Responsible for identifying and contacting clients.
  • Resource candidates for live roles and for speculative calls.
  • Expected to identify and qualify new vacancies.
  • Undertake client meetings where necessary with the key objective of securing new business.
  • Once you secure new clients you will be required to work with your colleagues to ensure that their requirements are met.

Skills and Experience

  • Previous recruitment experience (3+ years) is essential - commercial, education, professional services, finance or legal industries would be an advantage
  • Be a self-starter who knows how to identify potential customers.
  • Work closely with candidates to identify their needs and clients they may be suited to.
  • Understand sales lead generation and be able to qualify prospects in to genuine client leads.
  • Be skilled at objection handling, listening skills, client retention and rapport building.
  • Have excellent Negotiation skills.
  • Be proficient at meeting KPI’s.
  • Possess good organisational skills.
  • Have knowledge and experience of working within the Legal sector would be a distinct advantage
  • Previous experience managing or leading a small team of consultants or recruiters would also be an advantage
