Senior HR Advisor / HR Business Partner

In this role you will be advising and supporting both the Senior Management team as well as delivering HR strategy initiatives and projects as directed by the HR Director.

The role would be focussed on:

  • Resourcing/recruitment : whole lifecycle from recruitment approvals, advertising, interviewing, selection, contracts and employment checks, induction, headcount reporting and leavers
  • HR Governance : i.e. changes to policies & procedures as required, holiday & absence recording, employee and training records.
  • Employee Engagement & Wellbeing : leading on engagement and wellbeing activities, improving culture and ways of working and embedding company values
  • Management Development (all people managers) : coaching and supporting managers in people related activities, utilising HR Help (for ER) as appropriate
  • Review, recommend and implement process improvements across the HR function


Skills & Competencies:

  • CIPD Level 7 qualified / part-qualified (or equivalent)
  • Demonstrable background in HR
  • Hands-on with HR admin duties
  • Background in manufacturing or engineering is desirable
  • Communication skills : written and verbal
  • Report writing skills
  • Work well in a team and in a collaborative and consultative approach
  • Flexibility and be able to prioritise tasks
  • Ability to work independently and autonomously
  • Change management
