Surgical Ward Nurse

A position has become available within a private hospital in Bromley, Kent. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fantastic team specialising in Orthopaedic, ENT and Gynaecology Surgery

This is a full-time or part time role. The successful ward nurse will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:
NMC Registered Nurse
Must have experience in acute medicine or surgical wards
Knowledge of current issues relating to nursing and health sectors
Knowledge of NMC Codes and guidelines and their implications for practice

Duties of this role include:
Responsible for day to day management of the Hospital Ward, and its staff.
Providing clinical leadership in an effective and efficient management of ward resources, driving clinical excellence in all aspect of care received by patients.
Working to maintain and enhance the customer service and satisfaction of service users.
Responsible for leading and supporting the nursing team to meet all aspects of the clinical governance agenda.
