Job Description

We’re currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established metal finishing specialist based in the Horsham area. Known for delivering high-quality polishing and surface finishing across a wide range of metals. They are looking to hire a full time, experienced Metal Polisher to join their team.

Job Duties:

• Polishing & finishing a wide variety of metal parts to a very high standard. Creating all common finishes like mirror, super mirror, bright and satin / brushed on all metals.
• Using a combination of power tools, fixed spindles & belt linishers
• Using computer software to track & update jobs throughout the process
• Working to specifications and drawings
• General workshop maintenance

Requirements:

• Have at least 3 years previous employment as a Metal Polisher.
• Have experience using both fixed spindle machines & hand held polishers
• Have good eye sight and the ability to work in very fine detail.
• Ideally have worked across multiple sectors, auto/marine, engineering, pharma, medical, food, architectural.
• Be able to produce high mirror polished finishes on all metals as well as satin and brushed finishes on stainless steel, brass and aluminium.
• Be organised, self motivated and able to work at pace without compromising quality.
• Have their own reliable transport, this is essential due to rural location, free parking is available.
