Start Date – Monday 4th July

Our client based in Portsmouth with excellent transport links is looking for call centre agents who can provide an excellent telephone-based customer service to ensure the efficient and professional handling of all aspects of insurance including service, sales, retention and claims to high standards. You do not have to have worked in an office previously, but have exceptional communication skills, strong customer service or sales background and be able to learn computer systems.

Duties

  • Answering calls in a timely manner
  • Contacting and dealing with customers via telephone and email, updating details on systems whilst providing exceptional customer service.
  • Collating and posting of documents when required
  • Maintaining a consistent and energetic approach and building rapport with internal and external customers to establish customer relations.
  • To manage the customer through the lifecycle of their policy from quote/sales and inception and renewals to the claims process and all credit control functions, providing a one touch service.
  • Where applicable, to adhere to Company processes with regard to FCA compliance and Treating Customers Fairly

Essential Skills

  • Excellent customer service or sales experience, previous call centre or contact centre experience would be an advantage but strong retail background very much considered
  • Resilience within a busy working environment
  • First class communication skills
  • Prioritisation skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Able to think on your feet
  • Work well under pressure
  • Problem-solving skills with difficult customers

Working hours

Monday – Friday 9am-5pm – Initially for training 4-6 weeks

After training, will go onto a 3-week shift rota:

Early shift 8am-4pm Monday to Friday,

Mid-Shift 9am-5.30pm (4 days M-F) and Half day on Saturday

Late shift 12-8pm Monday to Friday
