Regional Sales Manager – Field Based

Our client has a requirement for a high calibre Sales Manager to manage and sell the range of lighting and ventilation solutions. The role will work closely with the UK & IE Sales Team, the Project Management, Customer Service and Technical teams with the primary focus being responsible for achieving sales budgets for Light + Air products.

To be ideal for this role you will have a minimum of 5 years field sales experience and knowledge of specification sales within the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

? To develop new and existing key account customers, specifications and routes to market for the product range

? To work closely with the wider business to build pipelines with repeat customers

? To be responsible for reporting sales activity, won/lost order log, pipeline forecasting and key issues/opportunities

? To deliver targeted contribution and maintain margins

? To engage with marketing activities to establish market penetration

? To achieve key growth in sales

? To work closely with key strategic partners, develop and deliver key initiatives

? To actively engage with customers and wider sales function to secure sales of the products, create leads, track projects and promote the company products generally.

? To engage with architects, clients, consultants, main contractors and specifiers in order to achieve product specification

? To establish and develop strong strategic relationships and partnerships, including with wholesalers, value added resellers, direct customers and third party sales channels

? To provide competitor intelligence from the market place to assist in product pricing, market development and product positioning

Experience and Knowledge

  • Minimum of 5 years field sales experience
  • Experience in specification sales in the construction industry
  • Proven record in developing new sales opportunities, negotiating supply contracts and achieving sales growth targets
  • Good numeracy skills and use of spreadsheets
  • Good literacy and presentation skills
  • Familiarity with CRM systems

Package

  • Salary £50k
  • Also includes Car Allowance £450/month

  • Plus commission structure to earn 20% bonus
