Our client is looking for an experienced Progress Chaser to join their team. This is a key role in ensuring that projects are delivered on time, to specification, and with minimal disruption. As a Progress Chaser, you will monitor and track projects from start to finish, identifying potential delays and resolving issues to keep everything on schedule. Acting as the link between departments, you’ll ensure smooth communication, highlight bottlenecks, and support the wider team in meeting deadlines.
Main Duties
Track and monitor tasks and projects from initiation to completion.
Identify potential delays, bottlenecks, or deviations from planned schedules.
Monitor availability and supply of materials, parts, and resources.
Act as a central liaison between teams and departments.
Provide updates, progress reports, and highlight issues to managers and colleagues.
Investigate and resolve delivery or quality concerns.
Escalate unresolved issues where appropriate.
Maintain accurate records of progress, communications, and actions taken.
Skills and Knowledge
Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within a fast-paced production environment.
Strong organisational and time management skills, able to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, across all levels of management.
High attention to detail with the ability to spot inconsistencies.
Proactive problem solver with a solution-focused approach.
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills across departments.
Computer literate, confident using tracking systems, data tools, and communication software.
Holiday: 28 days (including bank holidays) plus full closure over Christmas and New Year not deducted from holiday entitlement
Additional time off: Last Friday of every month (afternoon off) and full closure between Christmas and New Year.
