Are you an experienced Part-Time Office Administrator with Xero knowledge and previous experience within construction or engineering?

A well-established business is looking for a reliable and proactive Part-Time Office Administrator to support the smooth day-to-day running of a busy office. This varied position combines bookkeeping, administration and communication with employees and subcontractors.

You must be available to work every Friday, plus one additional weekday, totalling approximately 15 hours per week. There may also be scope for a third working day in the future.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage emails, telephone calls and general correspondence.
  • Complete day-to-day bookkeeping and financial administration using Xero.
  • Maintain accurate filing, records and office documentation.
  • Liaise with subcontractors and employees to support ongoing work.
  • Order and maintain stationery, refreshments and office supplies.
  • Keep the office organised, professional and well maintained.
  • Support general administrative tasks across the business.
  • Provide additional holiday cover during the year when required.

Skills & Knowledge Required

  • Have previous office administration or coordination experience.
  • Demonstrate practical Xero experience – essential.
  • Have previous construction or engineering industry experience.
  • Use Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook confidently.
  • Possess excellent organisation and attention to detail.
  • Communicate professionally with employees, contractors and suppliers.
  • Work independently with a dependable and proactive approach.
  • Hold a full UK driving licence due to the office location.

The Part-Time Finance & Office Administrator must be available on **Fridays, 7:30am–4:30pm**, with flexibility around the additional weekday worked. Availability to provide additional hours for staff holiday cover would be advantageous.

A well-established manufacturer in Hedge End is looking for a customer-focused Sales Support Advisor to join its Commercial team. You will act as a key point of contact for customer enquiries, helping with product information and selection while identifying and developing potential sales opportunities. Job Responsibilities

Identify and process incoming sales leads to maximise potential opportunities.

Workshop Recruitment is supporting a well-established precision engineering business in Poole that is looking to add a skilled CNC Turner Programmer, Setter & Operator to its c manufacturing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a CNC Turner seeking a permanent role with a 4-day working week, ongoing training, and genuine opportunities for progression. Working within a modern, recently refurbished facility, the CNC Turner will be responsible for producing high-quality precision components across a variety of materials, from prototype work through to medium batch production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Program, set and operate CNC multi-axis lathes using Fanuc and Manual Guide.
  • Manufacture precision components from engineering drawings.
  • Produce parts in materials including stainless steel, mild steel, aluminium, brass and plastics.
  • Carry out first-off and in-process inspections.
  • Inspect and verify your own work using measuring equipment.
  • Reset and change machines throughout the day as production demands.
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping and organisation.
  • Support efficient production across multiple machines when required.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a CNC Turner within a subcontract engineering environment.
  • Strong CNC programming experience using Fanuc and Manual Guide controls.
  • Experience operating CNC lathes with bar feed systems.
  • Ability to independently set and reset machines multiple times per shift.
  • Competent using verniers, micrometers, thread gauges and other inspection equipment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality standards.
  • Organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Reliable, proactive and committed approach to work.

Are you a skilled Carpenter Multi-Trade Operative with strong carpentry skills and experience across additional trades? Workshop Recruitment are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Carpenter Multi-Trade Operative to join a well-established property maintenance organisation in the Fareham area. The role involves planned and reactive maintenance across domestic and commercial properties. You will use your carpentry skills alongside experience in plumbing, bathroom fitting, kitchen installation and general maintenance, painting & decorating, tiling, among other tasks. The successful Carpenter Multi-Trade Operative will work independently, use their initiative and deliver a professional, customer-focused service, and live in the Fareham area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across domestic and commercial properties.
  • Complete carpentry repairs including doors, frames, skirting, flooring and first/second fix works.
  • Install and refurbish bathrooms, including sanitaryware, showers and associated fixtures.
  • Undertake minor plumbing repairs, alterations and sanitary connections.
  • Complete kitchen installations, joinery and associated finishing works.
  • Diagnose faults and identify suitable repair solutions.
  • Maintain high standards of quality, safety and workmanship.
  • Complete job sheets and records accurately while communicating professionally with customers and tenants.

Skills & Knowledge Required

  • Strong carpentry and joinery skills, including door hanging, ironmongery, skirting and architrave.
  • Competence in at least two additional trades, such as plumbing, bathroom fitting, kitchen fitting, tiling, plastering or general maintenance.
  • Experience working across domestic property maintenance or similar environments.
  • Good practical, problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to different repair requirements.
  • Knowledge of building maintenance, materials, tools and safe working practices.
  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Carpentry & Joinery, or a relevant recognised trade qualification.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to undergo a DBS check.

Previous fire door experience and relevant Health & Safety qualifications would be advantageous. The Carpenter Multi-Trade Operative will receive a company vehicle, fuel card, uniform and PPE, plus a range of additional benefits including life insurance, sick pay after a length of service, employee wellbeing support and a pension scheme, must live within a 20 mile radius of Fareham.
