Are you an experienced Production Leader with strong people management skills and a background in fast-paced manufacturing environments? This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing business that is investing in its people, processes, and future growth.

This Production Leader role will see you leading production teams across multiple product lines, ensuring productivity, quality, and safety targets are achieved. You will play a key role in driving continuous improvement, coaching team members, and maintaining a positive and high-performing culture.

The successful Production Leader will work closely with supervisors and senior management to improve KPI performance, employee engagement, and operational efficiency.

Shifts

  • Double Days, 6am – 2pm and 2pm – 10pm alternating weekly

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily production activities across multiple product ranges
  • Monitor KPIs, productivity, quality, and delivery performance
  • Conduct team huddles and maintain KPI boards
  • Coach and develop Production Operatives and Deputy Production Leaders
  • Manage holidays, absence, return-to-work meetings, and 1-1s
  • Drive health & safety compliance and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support production planning and resource allocation
  • Ensure ERP transactions and production data are accurate and timely

Skills & Experience Required

  • Previous experience in a Production Leader or manufacturing leadership role
  • Strong people management and coaching skills
  • Experience working within KPI-driven production environments
  • Knowledge of health & safety and quality standards within manufacturing
  • Confident using ERP systems and production reporting tools
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage performance, engagement, and conflict resolution
  • Continuous improvement mindset with strong organisational skills
