Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble wiring systems, racks, and enclosures from schematics and BOMs
  • Perform soldering, crimping, and cable routing
  • Carry out electrical testing and fault-finding
  • Maintain and improve manufacturing documentation and standards
  • Collaborate with engineering to optimize quality and efficiency

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Level 3 qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (BTEC, NVQ, City & Guilds)
  • Practical experience in electrical assembly, panel wiring, or cable assembly
  • Ability to read technical drawings and work independently
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity

Desirable:

  • HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • IPC/WHMA-A-620 certification
  • Experience writing work instructions
