Workshop Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Production Engineer to join a successful manufacturing business based in Havant.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on engineer with a strong background in manufacturing, process improvement and problem-solving. You will provide technical support to production, resolve manufacturing issues and identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, efficiency and cost.
Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day engineering support to production.
Investigate and resolve process, equipment and quality issues.
Support continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing activities.
Investigate non-conformances and customer complaints and implement corrective actions.
Create and maintain SOPs, work instructions and process documentation.
Support ECOs, MCDs and process changes.
Work closely with Production, Quality, Supply Chain and Maintenance teams.
Identify and implement improvements to manufacturing processes and productivity.
The Ideal Candidate
Previous experience within a Production, Manufacturing or Process Engineering environment.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Experience with Lean / Continuous Improvement.
Good understanding of manufacturing processes and technical documentation.
A proactive, hands-on approach with excellent communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
