Are you an experienced CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator with 5-axis machining skills and the ability to write or modify Fanuc or Haas programs? This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established precision engineering company producing high-quality components for demanding industries. The successful CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator will play a key role in delivering quality, efficiency and continuous improvement within a supportive manufacturing team.

The Role

  • Set, program and operate 4 and 5 axis CNC machining centres.
  • Write, edit and optimise Fanuc and Haas programs.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings to produce components to specification.
  • Inspect your own work using micrometers, verniers and other measuring equipment.
  • Adjust wear offsets to maintain quality and cycle times.
  • Deburr and assemble components where required.
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area.
  • Support continuous improvement and work collaboratively with colleagues.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator.
  • Strong knowledge of 4th and 5th axis machining.
  • Ability to write and modify Fanuc and Haas programs.
  • CAD/CAM experience is advantageous but not essential.
  • Familiarity with AS9100 and ISO9001 quality standards.
  • Confident using precision inspection equipment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
  • Eligible to work in the UK.
