Are you an experienced CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator with 5-axis machining skills and the ability to write or modify Fanuc or Haas programs? This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established precision engineering company producing high-quality components for demanding industries. The successful CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator will play a key role in delivering quality, efficiency and continuous improvement within a supportive manufacturing team.
The Role
Set, program and operate 4 and 5 axis CNC machining centres.
Write, edit and optimise Fanuc and Haas programs.
Read and interpret engineering drawings to produce components to specification.
Inspect your own work using micrometers, verniers and other measuring equipment.
Adjust wear offsets to maintain quality and cycle times.
Deburr and assemble components where required.
Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area.
Support continuous improvement and work collaboratively with colleagues.
Skills & Experience
Proven experience as a CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator.
Strong knowledge of 4th and 5th axis machining.
Ability to write and modify Fanuc and Haas programs.
CAD/CAM experience is advantageous but not essential.
Familiarity with AS9100 and ISO9001 quality standards.
Confident using precision inspection equipment.
Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
Eligible to work in the UK.
