As a Night Shift Setter, you'll be responsible for setting and operating CNC perforating presses to produce high-quality metal and plastic components. As a Night Shift Setter, you'll be responsible for setting and operating CNC perforating presses to produce high-quality metal and plastic components. Key Responsibilities
Set and operate CNC perforating and punch presses.
Produce quality components while achieving production targets.
Carry out quality inspections in line with ISO procedures.
Maintain excellent housekeeping and health & safety standards.
Support continuous improvement initiatives, including SMED and 5S.
Deputise for the Team Leader when required.
Assist with training and developing colleagues.
Contribute to environmental and quality objectives.
Skills & Experience
Previous Night Shift Setter or punch press setting experience.
Mechanical or manufacturing background.
Ability to read engineering drawings.
Competent using micrometres and verniers.
Good computer literacy.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Previous supervisory experience would be advantageous.
Forklift licence or experience is desirable.
Working Hours
Sunday to Thursday, 10:00pm - 6:00am
You'll be paid for a 40-hour week while working 37.5 hours, with your daily 30-minute break fully paid.
Please note – candidates will start on day shift for training, this will last for 2-4 weeks. Day shift hours are 6am – 2pm and 2pm – 10pm
