Are you a Fire Alarm Commissioning Engineer with experience commissioning and fault-finding on a range of fire alarm systems? You'll work across a variety of sites, carrying out commissioning, servicing and maintenance while benefiting from ongoing training and secure, long-term employment.
Key Responsibilities
Commission a wide range of fire alarm systems, including conventional, two-wire, addressable and wireless systems.
Diagnose and resolve faults across fire alarm systems.
Program fire alarm control panels both on-site and remotely.
Service and maintain fire alarm systems.
Carry out servicing and maintenance of emergency lighting systems.
Service and maintain AOV systems.
Respond to emergency call-outs and complete remedial works where required.
Support commissioning and servicing of additional life safety systems where qualified.
Skills & Knowledge Required
Previous experience as a Fire Alarm Commissioning Engineer.
Strong knowledge of BS5839 and BS5266.
Ability to commission a variety of fire alarm systems.
Experience with fault-finding, programming and servicing.
FIA and BAFE modules or accreditations are advantageous.
Good understanding of health and safety, including working at height, manual handling and asbestos awareness.
Full UK driving licence preferred.
