Are you a CNC Turner with experience setting, operating and programming CNC machinery? A growing specialist engineering and sub-contract manufacturing business is looking for an experienced CNC Turner to join its team on a permanent basis. Youll work with a range of components and assemblies, using CNC turning machinery to produce high-quality, precision parts. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled CNC Turner looking for a long-term role with opportunities for development and overtime.
Key Responsibilities
Program, set and operate CNC lathes and 3- and 4-axis machinery
Turn, bore, thread, form and face metal and plastic materials
Use CNC tooling and precision measurement equipment
Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents
Handle and protect manufactured components, fabricated parts and assemblies
Identify and resolve machining and production issues
Maintain high standards of quality and attention to detail
Support continual improvement and changing production requirements
Skills & Knowledge Required
Previous experience working as a CNC Turner
Strong CNC machinery and tooling skills
Experience using precision measurement equipment
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
Good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Self-motivated with a drive for results and improvement
Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements
