This is an excellent opportunity for a Workshop Technician to join a well-established engineering and technical services business supporting specialist marine and subsea operations. The role offers varied workshop-based work alongside occasional travel to Plymouth to support operational teams, with full in-house training provided for specialist activities.

The successful Workshop Technician will support equipment manufacturing, maintenance activities, logistics operations and technical projects. This role would suit someone practical, proactive and keen to develop new skills within a unique engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support workshop manufacturing and equipment build activities.
  • Assist with maintenance of plant equipment and facilities.
  • Carry out basic mechanical assembly and repair tasks.
  • Support logistics and operational requirements when required.
  • Maintain accurate equipment and operational records.
  • Follow all health, safety and quality procedures.
  • Assist technical and maintenance teams across the business.
  • Travel occasionally to Plymouth to support operational and diving teams.

Skills & Knowledge Required

  • Previous experience in a workshop or operational environment.
  • Basic understanding of workshop tools and equipment.
  • Knowledge of technical measurements and mechanical terminology.
  • Good practical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong team-working and communication abilities.
  • Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Full UK driving licence desirable.
  • Engineering, science or vocational qualifications beneficial.
