Job Purpose

To support the day-to-day operation of the warehouse while carrying out deliveries and collections across the UK. This dual-role position requires flexibility, ensuring warehouse operations and logistics run efficiently to support renewable energy installations nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, unload and check incoming deliveries.
  • Pick, pack and prepare materials for Solar PV, Battery Storage, EV Chargers and associated products.
  • Load and unload company vehicles safely and efficiently.
  • Deliver materials to installation teams across the UK.
  • Collect stock from suppliers and transport goods between company sites.
  • Maintain accurate stock records and assist with stock takes.
  • Keep the warehouse clean, organised and compliant with Health & Safety procedures.
  • Carry out daily vehicle checks and ensure company vehicles are maintained to a high standard.
  • Support the Warehouse Manager with daily warehouse operations.
  • Assist the Operations Team to ensure installations are completed on schedule.
  • Undertake additional duties as required to support business operations.

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Previous warehouse experience.
  • Previous multi-drop or delivery driving experience.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Good organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties.
  • Flexible approach to working hours and changing priorities.

Desirable

  • Experience within the construction, electrical or renewable energy sector.
  • Forklift licence (Counterbalance or Reach).
  • Knowledge of warehouse stock management systems.

Personal Attributes

  • Reliable and punctual.
  • Positive, can-do attitude.
  • Professional and customer-focused.
  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Safety-conscious.
  • Willing to travel nationally and stay away from home when required.

Working Hours
