As an Asbestos Removal Labourer, you’ll work in teams of three or more across domestic and commercial properties throughout Southampton, Eastleigh, Portsmouth, London, and surrounding areas. Transport provided for work-related travel, pick-up points, meeting points, and any travel time over one hour is paid. Occasional overnight stays will be required, although these are not frequent, full training and PPE will be issued.
Ideally live in the Eastleigh, Southampton area, or live in good travel distance of the area. Must provide 2 x sources of reference, must be fully clean, shaven or prepared to be for face fit masks.
Key Responsibilities- Safely assist with asbestos removal projects in domestic and commercial properties.
- Work as part of a professional team of three.
- Follow site procedures and health & safety regulations at all times.
- Prepare work areas and safely remove asbestos-containing materials.
- Wear and maintain the PPE provided.
- Travel to sites across the South Coast and London when required.
- Complete work to a high standard while maintaining excellent housekeeping.
- Support colleagues to deliver projects safely and efficiently.
- General labouring, site set up, and site clearance.
- Have an excellent work Ethic, hard worker.
Skills & Experience Required- Full UK driving licence (essential).
- Hardworking, reliable, and committed with a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to travel and occasionally stay away overnight.
- Able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Two employment references required.
- DBS check preferred; one will be completed for the successful candidate if required.
- Asbestos Awareness certificate preferred; full training will be provided for the right candidate.
- CSCS Card preferred but not essential.
- Live in good travel distance of Eastleigh, Southampton.
