Workshop Recruitment is supporting a well-established construction and maintenance business in the search for a reliable Labourer to join their growing team in Portsmouth. This permanent opportunity offers long-term stability, varied work, and the chance to develop within a supportive and professional environment.

The successful Labourer will support responsive repairs, routine maintenance, and void property works across housing and corporate properties, alongside assisting skilled trades teams on-site.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Groundworkers with fencing, paving, drainage, and concrete repairs
• Assist Roofers with pitched and flat roof repairs
• Carry out general labouring duties across maintenance projects
• Remove and transport waste materials safely
• Assist tradespeople with site tasks as required
• Maintain safe and tidy working environments
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times

Skills & Knowledge Required

• Previous experience working as a Labourer within construction
• Good understanding of construction methods and materials
• Reliable, hardworking, and team-focused attitude
• Ability to carry out physically demanding work
• Full UK driving licence essential with own vehicle (could be required to drive company van)
• CSCS card preferred not essential
