This is a permanent position which will be suited to an individual that is looking to advance their career and gain hands-on experience in a thriving and supportive workplace.
You will be working in but not limited to, Social Housing, Schools, Public Conveniences, Offices, Heritage and Museums.
You will need to have an open and positive attitude, be a team player and be able to embrace and work in new ways to improve yourself, the team and service to the client. When dealing with customers, client representatives or peers and team members you will be professional at all times and demonstrate high standards of customer service and care.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Repairs and installation to include fault finding, programming, and commissioning of door entry systems across a variety of buildings where secured access is required.
KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
Be able to demonstrate you are a competent engineer and have the tools to do the work.
Have the prerequisite technical, statutory, and legislative knowledge for the trades you perform for the company ensuring you keep abreast of updates and changes.
Have knowledge of the materials and methods used in the building and maintenance industry.
Working with Videx and Tynetec Door entry systems.
Working with KMS and PAC Access systems
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
2 – 5 yrs. experience of working in Social Housing or Building Maintenance environment.
3-5 yrs. experience in the Security industry.
QUALIFICATION REQUIRED
City and Guilds in Electronic security systems
City and Guilds in Electronic principles (Desirable)
Automation to BS EN 16005 (Desirable)
Time served experience will be considered
