Are you an experienced Plasterer with strong domestic plastering skills and a background in social housing or property maintenance?

A well-established property maintenance organisation is looking for a skilled Plasterer to work across Portsmouth, Waterlooville and Havant. You will carry out planned and responsive plastering repairs across occupied homes, void properties and public buildings.

This Plasterer role offers varied day-to-day work, including everything from small patch repairs through to boarding, rendering and complete wall and ceiling finishes.

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare walls and ceilings by removing damaged plaster and preparing surfaces.
  • Complete patch plastering, skim coats and full wall and ceiling finishes.
  • Apply plaster, render and cement finishes to internal and external surfaces.
  • Install plasterboard to stud walls and overboard damaged ceilings.
  • Repair cracks, holes and damaged areas following maintenance works.
  • Fit coving and cornice and complete associated finishing work.
  • Carry out Artex repairs and apply specialist boards where required.
  • Work safely at height and support non-licensed asbestos works following appropriate training.

Skills & Knowledge Required

  • Hold an NVQ Level 2 in Plastering or equivalent.
  • Demonstrate 2–5 years’ experience in social housing or building maintenance.
  • Have strong experience completing domestic plastering repairs.
  • Hold a full, clean UK manual driving licence – essential.
  • Work independently and organise workloads efficiently.
  • Communicate professionally when working in occupied properties.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
  • Be willing to complete a DBS check before starting employment.
