We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Regional Carpenter (Multi-Skilled) to join our friendly, professional maintenance team. This is a mobile role carrying out a variety of carpentry, maintenance, and repair work across domestic, commercial, and public sector properties. You’ll be part of a team that takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service across multiple sites — from local authority buildings and education providers to commercial offices and historic sites.
Main Duties
Carry out all aspects of 1st and 2nd fix carpentry, including fitting and repairing doors (including fire doors), kitchen installations, and general woodwork.
Complete multi-trade tasks such as tiling, minor plumbing, and decorative works.
Diagnose and repair faults quickly and effectively.
Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Record work completed with accurate notes and photos.
Skills and Knowledge
NVQ Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent) in Carpentry.
Competent in at least two secondary trades (e.g. plumbing, tiling, decorating).
Minimum 3 years’ experience in building maintenance or similar environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Full UK driving licence (essential).
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Must be able to pass an Enhanced DBS check and Security Clearance.
Salary and Benefits
£40,000 per annum + company van and fuel card.
Permanent, full-time position with long-term stability.
