We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Regional Carpenter (Multi-Skilled) to join our friendly, professional maintenance team. This is a mobile role carrying out a variety of carpentry, maintenance, and repair work across domestic, commercial, and public sector properties. You’ll be part of a team that takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service across multiple sites — from local authority buildings and education providers to commercial offices and historic sites.

Main Duties

  • Carry out all aspects of 1st and 2nd fix carpentry, including fitting and repairing doors (including fire doors), kitchen installations, and general woodwork.
  • Complete multi-trade tasks such as tiling, minor plumbing, and decorative works.
  • Diagnose and repair faults quickly and effectively.
  • Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
  • Record work completed with accurate notes and photos.

Skills and Knowledge

  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent) in Carpentry.
  • Competent in at least two secondary trades (e.g. plumbing, tiling, decorating).
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in building maintenance or similar environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Full UK driving licence (essential).
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Must be able to pass an Enhanced DBS check and Security Clearance.
