They are now looking for a Health & Safety Officer to join their team, someone who’s passionate about creating and maintaining safe working environments and ensuring you stay fully compliant across all areas of their business.
Job Responsibilities
As a Health & Safety Officer, you’ll take full responsibility for health and safety across their live sites and office operations. This is a hands-on role with real influence, ensuring that safety remains at the heart of everything they do.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting regular safety inspections and audits on live sites and office environments
Maintaining and updating all company health & safety policies and procedures
Managing and renewing accreditations and compliance documentation
Leading safety meetings, training sessions, and toolbox talks for staff and subcontractors
Producing professional reports, assessments, and safety documentation
Investigating incidents and implementing corrective actions
Promoting a positive safety culture across the business
Requirements
Experience in a Health & Safety role (ideally within construction or a similar industry)
A full UK Driving license
A company vehicle/ Fuel allowance
Possibility of travelling, accommodation will be paid for
Strong understanding of UK health & safety laws and best practices
NEBOSH General Certificate (or working towards it)
Excellent organisational and communication skills
A proactive, practical approach to managing safety on-site and in the office
