Workshop Recruitment is supporting a well-established manufacturing and installation business specialising in high-quality windows and doors for residential and commercial projects. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a Trainee Silicone Applicator to join their expanding installation team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with basic construction or trade experience who wants to develop into a skilled Trainee Silicone Applicator.
Full in-house training will be provided, with progression to a company van-issued role after 3 months.
Responsibilities
- Carry out silicone sealing and finishing work on windows and doors
- Support wet glazing applications on domestic and commercial sites
- Assist installation teams across London-based projects
- Prepare and finish fitted products to a high standard
- Learn specialist application techniques through structured training
- Maintain excellent attention to detail and workmanship
- Follow all health and safety procedures on-site
- Travel to various project locations as part of the installation team
Skills & Experience Required
- No previous experience required – full training provided
- Full UK driving licence essential
- Basic construction or trade experience desirable
- Willingness to learn and develop practical skills
- Good problem-solving ability and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- CSCS card desirable but not essential
- Positive attitude and ability to work within a team
