Birmingham, Manchester or Sheffield | £30,000 + £62.50 Weekly Car Allowance + Mileage + Pension | Full-Time, 40 Hours | 3–4 Month Contract

Are you a Field Quality Assessor with strong observational skills and experience in estate agency, property viewings, mystery shopping or field-based customer service?

A growing business is looking for an organised and impartial Field Quality Assessor to support a temporary service-quality pilot. You will attend property appointments and assess the experience from a customer’s perspective, providing clear and factual feedback on punctuality, presentation and overall service standards. Your findings will help identify trends, support client feedback and provide real examples that can be used to improve processes and training.

Job Responsibilities

• Attend an average of 6–7 property appointments per day.
• Observe appointments and assess service against agreed standards.
• Record scheduled and actual arrival times and appointment outcomes.
• Provide clear, factual and impartial reports following each visit.
• Identify recurring themes, service risks and improvement opportunities.
• Escalate urgent concerns through the appropriate channels.
• Plan efficient daily travel routes between appointments.
• Complete administration and reporting from home when required.

Skills & Knowledge Required

• Have strong observational skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Communicate clearly and professionally in written reports.
• Ideally have experience in estate agency viewings, mystery shopping or sales.
• Be confident working independently and managing a field-based schedule.
• Have at least two years’ experience combining remote working with regular travel.
• Be comfortable using mobile devices and online reporting systems.
• Hold a valid UK driving licence.
• Have access to your own reliable vehicle insured for business use.

Additional Information

• This Field Quality Assessor role is approximately 80% field-based, with around 0.5–1 day per week working from home for administration and route planning.
• Working hours are 9am–6pm, including Friday and Saturday plus three additional weekdays of your choice, excluding Sunday.
• The role is initially a 3–4 month pilot, with potential for extension or a permanent opportunity depending on its success.
• A £62.50 car allowance is payable for each full week worked, plus mileage at the applicable HMRC rate.
