Our client who has great transport links and a very pleasant company to work for, is looking for an experienced finance assistant to work alongside the Financial Director and the wider open plan office team.

The role will have general all-round accounts dept duties including…

  • Opening new trade and customer accounts for the business
  • Taking and receiving payments
  • Expenses
  • Credit card checks and reconciliation
  • Credit control – Email chasing mostly
  • General Sales ledger work

Skills and Knowledge

  • Must be able to work to a fast pace, the company have real uplifts of sales throughout the year so speed and accuracy will be required
  • Adaptable and can-do attitude - resilient, capable and understands change is quick and you must be able to cope with this
  • Able to use MS office including Excel and training will be provided on Access/Inhouse systems
  • Confident communicating with customers on general finance related matters via phone and email
  • Previous finance dept experience or a start in career opportunity with someone who has accounts qualifications and happy to fulfil all duties including credit control

Working Hours

9am – 5pm Monday to Friday

Salary

£26,000- £29,000
