Machine Operator and Production Operator

Portsmouth

£11.60 - £13.39 per hour plus £2.00 per hour enhancement for late shift and night shift

Temporary – Permanent

Vacancies have become available for experienced Machine Operators and Production Operators at our client based in the Portsmouth area to work late shift and night shift hours,

Machine Operator and Production Operator responsibilities:

• Using various pieces of equipment whilst following health and safety
• Quality check product to ensure no damage has occurred during production
• Check the product against the works order document, label and drawings
• Keep working area clean and tidy

Skills and Experience

• Able to demonstrate the appropriate aptitude based on previous experience, ideally within a production environment.
• Production/machine operative
• Use of machinery and equipment
• Would need relevant machine/cnc operating experience for machine operator role
• H&S awareness
• Quality awareness
• A good communicator
• Able to work well within a team and use initiative.
• Manual Handling
