Are you an experienced CNC Miller with strong programming, setting and operating skills and a keen eye for precision?

Join a growing specialist engineering and manufacturing business investing in modern systems, equipment and processes. This is an exciting opportunity to become a key part of a close-knit manufacturing team as the business enters a period of significant growth.

As an Experienced CNC Miller, you will manufacture precision components using CNC and manual milling equipment, while working closely with engineering and other manufacturing teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Program, set and operate CNC milling machines to manufacture precision components.
  • Operate CNC and manual milling equipment safely and accurately.
  • Interpret technical drawings and work to precise specifications.
  • Inspect completed components using appropriate measuring equipment.
  • Monitor manufacturing times using the company’s ERP system.
  • Identify and resolve machining and production issues.
  • Work closely with engineering, CNC turning and manual machining teams.
  • Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy and shopfloor professionalism.

Skills & Knowledge Required

  • 5+ years’ experience in CNC milling.
  • Strong CNC milling programming, setting and operating skills.
  • Experience with manual milling.
  • Hurco machine experience is beneficial.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Confident using inspection and measurement equipment.
  • Good mathematical and measurement skills.
  • Self-motivated, reliable and able to solve problems independently.
