Are you an Assembly Fitter with experience reading technical drawings and a keen eye for quality? This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established manufacturing business where you'll play a key role in assembling high-quality products to exact specifications. Working as an Assembly Fitter, you'll be part of a supportive team focused on safety, quality and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble products accurately to engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Build a range of products to required quality standards.
  • Repair and maintain returned customer equipment when required.
  • Clean, prepare and pack completed products for dispatch.
  • Maintain a safe, clean and organised assembly work area.
  • Carry out stock checks and store materials in the correct locations.
  • Assist with loading and unloading deliveries as required.
  • Report quality, stock or production issues and suggest process improvements.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience as an Assembly Fitter or in a similar assembly role.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical assembly drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
  • Practical assembly and fitting skills.
  • Positive, flexible approach with good teamwork skills.
  • Ability to learn new tasks quickly and accurately.
  • Good organisational skills and a conscientious work ethic.
  • Reasonable level of physical fitness.

Hours

  • Monday 7.30am – 4pm, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 7.30am – 5pm and Friday 7.30am – 12.30

Company bonus when permanent.
