Looking for a hands-on role with steady hours, an early Friday finish, and a company that values quality and teamwork?

We’re recruiting an Assembly Operative on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business based in Fareham. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys practical work, likes seeing the results of what they build, and wants long-term stability.

What You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you’ll be part of a friendly production team, assembling components and finished products to a high standard.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Assembling parts and products using hand and machine tools
  • Following clear work instructions and safety procedures
  • Working to daily production targets without compromising quality
  • Completing basic production paperwork and checks
  • Keeping your workstation clean, organised, and safe
  • Supporting your teammates to keep production running smoothly

What We’re Looking For:

You don’t need to tick every box — training is provided — but this role would suit someone who:

  • Has experience in assembly or manufacturing (helpful but not essential)
  • Is practical, reliable, and good with their hands
  • Pays close attention to detail
  • Is happy working in a repetitive, fast-paced environment
  • Can follow instructions and work to standards
  • Enjoys being part of a team
  • Manages time well and takes pride in their work

Working Hours

  • Monday to Thursday: 7:30am – 4:00pm
  • Friday: 7:30am – 1:00pm
  • Early finish every Friday
