Are you an organised HR Administrator with excellent attention to detail and experience supporting a busy HR team? Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where accuracy, organisation, and communication are key? Workshop Recruitment is supporting a leading manufacturing business in the search for an experienced HR Administrator to join their HR team on a 6–8 month contract. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in supporting a busy manufacturing site, providing efficient HR administration across the full employee lifecycle. The successful HR Administrator will be responsible for maintaining HR systems, supporting payroll administration, coordinating new starters, and providing first-line HR support while ensuring all employee records remain accurate and up to date.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the Time & Attendance system and maintain accurate employee records
Administer the HR system, ensuring all employee data is up to date
Process contractual changes and HR documentation
Prepare new starter packs and coordinate onboarding activities
Respond to day-to-day HR queries, escalating where appropriate
Provide administrative support for internal and external HR audits
Set up employees on main HR system, Time & Attendance, and communication platforms
Ensure payroll information is recorded accurately and submitted on time
Skills & Knowledge Required
1–2 years' experience in an HR Administration role
Previous experience using HR systems
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
Confident communicator with a professional approach
Curious mindset with the confidence to ask questions and seek information
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office
Additional Information
6–8 month contract
Salary: £28,000–£30,000 per annum
