Product Testing Assistant

Havant | £13.35 per Hour | Part-Time, Tuesday–Thursday 8.00am 5.00pm | 3 month contract

Are you a reliable Product Testing Assistant with good attention to detail, basic PC skills and a practical approach to hands-on tasks? A well-established business in Havant is looking for a Product Testing Assistant to support its Product, Performance & Usage team during a busy period. This is a temporary role running from ASAP until Christmas, working ideally Tuesday to Thursday, 8am–5pm.
Some flexibility around start and finish times may be available, making this a suitable opportunity for someone looking for part-time hours.

Job Responsibilities

• Weigh ingredients accurately in line with testing requirements.
• Support simple and repetitive product testing activities.
• Record basic test information accurately on computer systems.
• Write clear and simple notes relating to testing activity.
• Prepare work areas and equipment before testing.
• Wash and dry equipment following use.
• Clear down and maintain clean, organised work benches.
• Support the wider Product, Performance & Usage team as required.

Skills & Knowledge Required

• Demonstrate good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Be comfortable completing repetitive practical tasks.
• Possess basic PC literacy and data-entry skills.
• Communicate clearly and record simple information accurately.
• Work reliably and consistently as part of a small team.
• Maintain a clean and organised working environment.
• Follow instructions and established testing processes.
• Bring an easy-going, dependable and helpful approach.

Previous product testing or laboratory experience is not essential. The most important qualities are reliability, attention to detail and a willingness to support the team during a busy period.
