Our client is seeking a Finance Analyst to join their dynamic team. The Finance Analyst will be responsible for supporting and challenging all aspects of Strategic Business Development, they will have a logical and thorough approach to all tasks, as well as being highly organised with a willingness to engage with the broader business.
In this role you will be -
Ensuring that the annual Group NPI expenditure is monitored and recorded accurately
Support and challenge Financial Controllers
Provide support and guidance with project queries
Complete quarterly review of projects
Prepare support information for Taxes such as annual R&D claims.
You will work with the departmental managers to control and coordinate the annual budgeting process and quarterly LE process.
You will complete monthly financial close activities including submission of accounts whilst overseeing the submission of group returns
Manage prepayments and accruals
Ensure key financial reporting, forecasts and budget deadlines are met to the highest level of accuracy and reliability
You will interrogate data to understand monthly/quarterly variances and drive actions to bring back to Plan/LE.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Relevant professional financial qualification desirable - AAT or working towards this, Part qualified CIMA etc.
You will have experience ideally within a manufacturing environment reporting on P&L, Balance sheet and KPI’s, with a proven track record in providing insight, delivering process improvements and benefits to the business.
You must be proficient in using Excel (VLOOKUP’s) and ERP systems.
