Key Responsibilities
Deburr and hand-finish manufactured components to required standards.
Inspect parts for sharp edges, defects and damage.
Select the correct components, materials and quantities for each job.
Assemble kits accurately using engineering drawings and work instructions.
Meet production schedules, priorities and delivery deadlines.
Operate hand tools, assembly equipment and finishing machinery safely.
Complete quality checks, report defects and maintain production records.
Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
Skills & Experience Required
Experience in an engineering, manufacturing or production environment.
Good mechanical understanding and practical skills.
Ability to read engineering drawings and follow specifications.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity.
Effective problem-solving and organisational skills.
Ability to work well within a small team.
Reliable, safety-conscious and willing to learn new skills.
