Our client provides property management services to the rental housing sectors. They are currently are seeking a dynamic and organized Maintenance Manager to cover a temporary assignment for 3 months.

Position Overview:

The Maintenance Manager will oversee maintenance operations at a 279-unit residential block. Reporting directly to the Property Manager. The primary focus will be on delivering exceptional customer service to residents throughout all stages of their tenancy. You must hold a Full UK Driving Licence.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Manage maintenance requests and ensure timely resolution.
  • Coordinate repairs and maintenance through an online management system.
  • Work with the builder to oversee defect resolution.
  • Assure quality of 'market-ready' apartments.
  • Perform minor plumbing and other tasks.
  • Install and check household appliances.
  • Conduct Health & Safety inspections and tests.
  • Assist with risk assessments and emergency audits.
  • Carry out tasks related to waste disposal and grounds maintenance.
  • Facilitate resident move-ins and move-outs.
  • Manage parcel deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate records in internal databases.
  • Represent the company professionally at all times.

Compensation and Benefits:

Salary: £23.21p/h

Uniform provided (details to be finalized).

Laptop and mobile phone provided.

Working Hours:

5-day working week, including alternative Saturdays.

Occasional Sunday shifts may be required.

40-hour working week with flexibility for viewings.

Evening and weekend on-call responsibilities.

On-call duties with out-of-hours availability for emergencies.
