General Labourer – Mulch Shifting

£16.60 per hour Temporary (1 Week)

Are you a hardworking, physically fit General Labourer happy to carry out manual handling and general site duties, heavy lifting and shifting? Workshop Recruitment is advertising on behalf of a well-established Landscaping company seeking a reliable General Labourer for a one-week assignment in Totton, Southampton. The main duty will involve shifting mulch using a wheelbarrow, alongside other general labouring tasks as required. The successful General Labourer will be physically fit, dependable and willing to assist with various site activities. A CSCS card is preferred but not essential. Applicants must be able to provide two work references.

Duties

• Shift mulch around the site using a wheelbarrow.
• Assist with general site set-up and preparation.
• Carry out site clearance and housekeeping duties.
• Move materials and equipment as required.
• Support the site team with general labouring tasks.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
• Follow site health and safety procedures.
• Complete manual handling and other labouring duties as required.

Skills & Knowledge Required

• CSCS card preferred but not essential.
• Previous experience in general labouring is essential
• Physically fit and capable of carrying out manual work.
• Hardworking, reliable and punctual.
• Able to carry out manual handling duties.
• Good awareness of site health and safety.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Able to provide two satisfactory work references.
