Job Description

This role has multiple duties including warehouse/yard, driving and general trade support/labouring. You will be working within the 2 sites operated by our client. A full, clean driver's licence is required and you must be able to drive vans/flatbed trucks.

You will assist with maintaining a tidy warehouse, delivering goods to required local destinations and collecting rubbish from our sites. You will assist with the checking/maintenance plant and equipment. You will need to have a good level of physical fitness for this role.

Duties Include…

• Assist with the picking of products in the warehouse.

• Ensure goods are loaded onto company vehicles in a safe manner.

• Assist with all forklift duties as and when required.

• Assist with the cleaning of warehouses as directed

• Ensure the yard is kept clean and tidy

• Assist with plant checking and maintenance

• Assist with the PAT testing of portable equipment

• You may use a company vehicle to drive stock out to operatives on site as and when required.

• Assist our Trades at the delivery destination when required, with lifting and carrying of delivered goods to the place where they will be used, to ensure goods are delivered damage-free.

Skills Required

• Full Clean driving licence and ability to driver larger vans and/or a flatbed truck

• Forklift licence is an advantage

• Computer literate

• Previous warehouse experience within a construction setting such as a builder's merchant.

• Experience in ‘small’ plant and tool maintenance

• Demonstrate attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines

Monday to Friday

08.00 – 17.00 (30 mins break)

PAY

£10.50 - £12 per hour PAYE
