Job Description

Our client is the UK’s largest producer of sand and gravel in the UK with quarry, marine dredged aggregates and coated roadstone operations. They are seeking an on-call shovel loader driver to assist them on an ad-hoc on-call basis up to 4 times a month. You would be given approximately a week’s notice as to when you will be required and this may include unsociable hours (between 5 pm and 8 am).

Your main duty within this role will be to move aggregates from the quayside to the designated bay area with a wheeled shovel loader vehicle. You would be paid a minimum of 8 hours per call out.

Requirements:

• CPCS A22 Qualification or similar competency-based certificate (essential)
• MPQC Qualification (beneficial)
• CSCS Card (beneficial)
• Own Transport (beneficial)
• If successful, attend an induction on site
