Shovel Loader Newhaven - £22 per hour Temporary – 2 Weeks Start Date: ASAP

Are you an experienced Shovel Loader with CPCS A22 certification and at least 2 years’ operating experience? Our client is a well-established UK aggregates business seeking a reliable Shovel Loader to support operations at their Newhaven site for a temporary 2 x week period. The role involves moving aggregates from the quayside to designated bay areas using a wheeled shovel loader. The successful Shovel Loader will be hardworking, dependable and safety-conscious.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate a wheeled shovel loader safely and efficiently
• Move aggregates from the quayside to designated areas
• Load and transport materials around the site
• Follow site health and safety procedures
• Complete site and online induction requirements
• Maintain a clean and safe working area
• Work reliably as part of the site team
• Provide two sources of references

Skills & Knowledge Required

• Minimum 2 years’ Shovel Loader operating experience
• CPCS A22 qualification or similar competency-based certificate (essential)
• MPQC qualification (beneficial)
• Valid CSCS Card
• Own transport
• ATD qualification (beneficial)
• Reliable and hardworking approach
• Ability to provide two references
• Live with the Newhaven area
