Havant | £38,500 + Company Van + Fuel Card + 25 Days Holiday + Pension | Full-Time | Permanent

Are you an experienced Plumber with strong domestic maintenance skills and a background in social housing or property repairs?

A well-established property maintenance business is looking for a conscientious and flexible Plumber to work across domestic properties, social housing and council buildings in the Havant and Portsmouth area. This is a varied, hands-on role covering first fix, second fix and reactive maintenance. The successful Plumber will need to work professionally in occupied properties, maintain high standards of workmanship and be comfortable completing some tasks outside their core trade.

Job Responsibilities

• Carry out first and second fix plumbing works.

• Complete reactive plumbing repairs and maintenance.

• Undertake bathroom installations and associated works.

• Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently.

• Work across domestic, social housing and council properties.

• Complete additional multi-trade tasks where competent to do so.

• Maintain accurate job records and follow safe working procedures.

• Keep the company vehicle, tools and equipment clean and organised.

Skills & Knowledge Required

• Hold an NVQ Level 2–3 in Plumbing or equivalent.

• Demonstrate over 3 years’ trade experience, ideally within residential repairs.

• Have at least 3 years’ bathroom installation experience.

• Be competent in at least two additional trade skills.

• Possess good knowledge of residential Building Regulations.

• Hold a full current UK driving licence.

• Demonstrate a professional, polite and customer-focused approach.

• Be willing to complete a DBS check and drugs test before starting employment.
