Workshop Recruitment are supporting a well-established scaffolding contractor with the recruitment of an experienced Scaffolding Supervisor for a large residential development in Fordingbridge. This Scaffolding Supervisor role offers the opportunity for up to 6–12 months’ work for the right person, working across a fast-paced new build site.
The successful Scaffolding Supervisor will oversee day-to-day site operations, ensure health and safety standards are maintained, and support the team on the tools when required.
Responsibilities
Supervise scaffold teams on a busy new build development
Work on the tools carrying out scaffolding duties when required
Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently
Carry out scaffold inspections and monitor site standards
Coordinate daily site activities and workforce allocation
Liaise with site management and contractors
Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations
Support scaffold erection, adaptations, and dismantling
Skills & Experience Required
Previous experience as a Scaffolding Supervisor
Valid CISRS Scaffolding Card
SSTS or SMSTS certification essential
Strong background in residential new build projects
Ability to lead teams and remain hands-on
Reliable, professional, and safety conscious
Full PPE required
Able to provide two work references
Qualifications Required:
CISRS Advanced
SMSTS / SSSTS
Benifits
Duration expected to be 6 months to 1 year for the right candidate
DBS check preferred but not essential
