Telehandler Operator : Forklift Driver

Are you an experienced Telehandler Operator / Forklift operator, with proven experience operating a 20m telehandler in busy construction environments and live in the kt24 Effingham area? Along with forklift duties.

Workshop Recruitment is advertising on behalf of a well-established construction company seeking a skilled Telehandler Operator to join an active site in KT24 / Effingham area. This is an ongoing opportunity offering consistent work for a reliable and safety-conscious operator, must also be a forklift operator.

The successful Telehandler Operator will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the machine, supporting site logistics, and assisting with general site duties when required, must be prepared to do this. This role would suit an experienced Telehandler Operator who is comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment and is happy to support the wider site team between lifts, along with forklift duties, living in the Effingham area.

Duties

• Operate a 20m Telehandler safely and efficiently
• Forklift operation
• Lift, move and distribute materials across the site
• Support site logistics and material movements
• Carry out daily machine inspections and report defects
• Load and unload deliveries as required
• Assist trades and site management with material handling
• Support general labouring duties when required
• Follow all site health and safety procedures

Skills & Knowledge Required

• Previous experience as a Telehandler Operator
• Valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler qualification
• Experience operating 20m telehandlers
• Good understanding of site health and safety requirements
• Experience working on construction projects
• Willingness to undertake general site duties when required
• Reliable with excellent timekeeping and communication skills
• Able to provide two satisfactory references
• Forklift experience
