Job Description

Our client is looking for a carpenter by trade multi who wants to work in a fast-paced environment within the social housing sector. You will be responsible for providing a first-class repair, maintenance and planned works service to their customers. You will be carrying out works on various domestic and commercial properties within their property portfolio.

Duties Include (but not limited to)

• Resealing – worktops, panels, units
• Basic Boarding and Shuttering
• Flooring and stair nosing’s
• Bathroom and Kitchen fittings
• Wooden window repairs
• Install Shelving, skirting and window cills
• Staircase and ramp repairs
• Installing door linings and windows
• Kitchen Fitting
• Locks
• Tilling – preparation, applying grout, fixing ceramic tiles
• Latexing
• Painting and Decorating
• Basic Plumbing

Requirements

• Level 2 NVQ / Time Served
• Own Van and Power Tools (essential)
• Smart Phone with Camera (essential)
• Valid DBS or able to pass one (essential)
• Happy to work/travel between Portsmouth and Basingstoke (essential)
• Asbestos Awareness Training (preferred)
• Working at Heights Training (preferred)
• Manual Handling (preferred)
• Good IT Skills
• Excellent communication skills with staff/clients/tenants
